Janet Jarrette, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Janet Jarrette is a nationally certified Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. Janet enjoyed her extended assignments providing relief for the COVID-19 pandemic in New York City. While on location in the Bronx in NYC, she cared for high risk antepartum and postpartum patients many of which were COVID-19 positive. Janet worked with infectious disease specialists during the pandemic and gained extensive experience in women’s health and infectious disease protocols during her diverse medical career. This experience equips her to be a superior provider in the currently evolving standard of patient care.
Janet attended Georgia Highlands College where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree. She continued her education at Kennesaw State University where she completed her Masters of Science in Nursing / Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Graduate Degree. Janet is American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) Certified and is licensed by the State of Georgia as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner.
On her philosophy of patient care, Janet says “I believe strongly in the importance of patient education. I find much satisfaction in discussing care options with my patients. Outstanding medical practice includes high levels of communication and collaboration. Excellent patient care for the best possible outcomes is always a team effort.”
